About me

My approach is humanistic and person-centred. I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, feel heard and explore your experiences at your own pace. I believe that developing a greater understanding of ourselves can help us make sense of our emotions, relationships, patterns and the stories we carry with us.

In addition to working privately I have also worked with Wellbeing in the Arts since 2023, offering low-cost counselling to creatives working in film, theatre and TV.

I am a BACP Registered Counsellor with over nine years' experience and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework. I bring a trauma-informed and inclusive approach to my practice.

I offer in-person counselling in central Brighton, Hove, and online counselling across the UK. Couples counselling is also available in person in Brighton and Hove. If you would like to explore whether counselling might be right for you, please do get in touch.

How I work

You may have a particular issue you want to explore, or perhaps you are finding it hard to make sense of how you feel and why you respond to things in certain ways. You don't need to know exactly what you need from therapy before we begin.

Individual counselling

I offer open-ended therapy, with the length of our work mutually negotiated between us. This means that our work can develop according to what you need, rather than working towards a predetermined number of sessions.

Some people come to counselling with a particular difficulty they want to work through, while others are looking for a longer-term space for reflection and personal growth. Together, we can explore what is happening for you and develop a deeper understanding of your experiences, emotions and relationships.

Couples counselling

I also work with couples who may be experiencing difficulties in their relationship, communication or connection. Couples counselling can provide a space to slow down patterns that have become stuck, hear each other differently and explore what may be happening beneath recurring disagreements or disconnection.

I approach couples work from a person-centred, humanistic perspective, creating space for both partners to be heard and understood. The aim is not to take sides or decide who is right, but to support you in exploring your relationship together and understanding the patterns between you.

My intention, whether working with an individual or a couple, is to provide a space in which you can better your understanding of yourself — your emotional responses, your relationships, and your story.
